At Infectious Diseases Associates of North Florida, PA, our specialists, clinical and administrative staff are highly trained and able to assist you throughout every aspect of your care.

We offer comprehensive infectious disease services in both hospital and outpatient settings to ensure continuity and coordination of care. While we provide a wide range of treatment options, outpatient IV infusion services are not currently available in our office.

Services offered:

  • Inpatient Infectious Diseases Consultations — complex infection evaluation and management during hospital stays.
  • Outpatient Infectious Diseases Consultations — evaluation and management by appointment; accepts referrals.
  • Telemedicine Visits — video visits for selected follow-ups and outpatient consults.
  • Antimicrobial Stewardship and Medication Management — optimize antibiotic therapy and durations.
  • HIV care & opportunistic infection management — diagnosis, treatment, and coordinated long-term care.
  • Device-related and prosthetic joint infection management — consultation with surgical teams.
  • Multidrug-resistant organism management & infection prevention consultation.
  • Pre-transplant / Post-transplant infection management.
  • Travel-related & tropical infection evaluation.

Note: While we do not provide outpatient IV infusions in our clinic, we regularly coordinate OPAT (Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy) with trusted local infusion partners to ensure patients receive safe, timely, and convenient treatment when IV antibiotics are needed.

Hospital partners:
UF Health St. Johns, St. Augustine — Infectious Diseases Consult Service; Encompass Rehab Hospital — consult coverage for rehab patients.

How to request a consult (for hospital staff):
Call hospital switchboard. For direct referrals, contact us with patient details and reason.

Outpatient Clinic & Referrals

Patients are welcome to request a referral from their primary care provider or specialist, and our team will review each referral to ensure we’re the right fit for your care.

Telemedicine Visits

Patients who are interested in telemedicine visits may schedule by calling our office, where our staff will help determine whether a virtual appointment is suitable for your needs.

Before your visit, please complete the Patient Forms and fax it to our office so we can review your information in advance. Telemedicine is available for follow‑up care and for selected new consultations; however, certain conditions may still require an in‑person evaluation.
